Like my patron saint, I am convinced that today,
as Dominicans, we have something to offer the Church and society: reliable study and help in understanding human and divine matters.

About us

Since the founding of the order, studies have been considered one of the essential elements of the Dominican identity. Therefore, we strive to develop Dominican Study through:

Research

Our brothers conduct professional philosophical, theological and historical research.

Preaching

What the brothers learn, they pass on to others.

Successes

Our brothers go further and achieve success and recognition in the world of science.

Projects

Their younger followers have big dreams and plans that we can help them realize.

We are studying

Study should be, above all, a pleasure, the pure joy of discovering that reality, despite everything that seems to deny it, has meaning. Our lives, the history of humanity, and the specific passage of Holy Scripture that we have been struggling with all morning, have meaning. Our study centers are schools of joy because their foundation is the belief that it is possible to achieve some understanding of the world and our lives.

Timothy Radcliffe OP

Discover our study centers where Polish Dominicans devote themselves to study. See how and where the brothers seek to understand the world and human life.

We are telling the story

A Dominican is called to share the fruits of his study. One of the mottos of the Order is: Contemplare et contemplata aliis tradere. To contemplate and to pass on the fruits of this contemplation to others. See how Polish Dominicans respond to this call. And how you too can benefit from the fruits of Dominican study.

We are changing the world

Did you know that one of the greatest scientists of the Middle Ages was a Dominican, St. Albert the Great? But we can boast not only about this great saint from the past. Come and see what contemporary Polish Dominicans are doing. Learn about the successes they are achieving in the fields of science and art.

We can do more

“everywhere, to everyone and in every possible way”

This is not an empty phrase. The Dominican brothers really want to reach the edges of the world. St. Dominic’s brilliant idea of having the brothers study at the best universities was not due to the snobbery of our founder, but rather to the awareness that we can achieve much more if we have well-educated and formed brothers.

See what our brothers are currently working on, what research projects they are tackling. And if you consider a specific project worth supporting – and you have the opportunity – maybe you would like to become its Patron?
