Dominican Study of Philosophy and Theology
(DSFT)
The Dominican Study of Philosophy and Theology (DSFT) is an initiative of lecturers from the College of Philosophy and Theology of the Polish Dominican Province, one of the oldest theological schools in Krakow. It was established because the brothers saw a clear need for education in the field of philosophical and theological foundations. With the help of modern projects, aimed primarily at lay people, the Study seeks answers to the most important questions.
As part of the Study, over 400 people attend lectures on theology and philosophy each year (both in person and online). The lecturers at the Study are both lay and clergy, Dominicans and people from outside the Order, mostly associated with the College in Krakow. In addition to lectures, the Study publishes books, edits the School of Theology website and supports projects with similar goals, e.g. Teofil Student Brothers’ Letter.
